FT5ZM, recorded at 0043.15 of February,9th on 14190 kHz. 2 way comm. with a Portuguese amateur radio operator. 12375 km from my receiving site. Amazing signal!
Line noise is huge at my place. Furthermore I have the laptop, net connections, router, and so on just on the side of the radios (lack of space...). Generally, couldn't hear anything below 9 MHz. This was the first step to solve - or attenuate - this situation. A line filter was added to the sockets on the radio side. You can see some images of the flter beeing assembled on an old cd drive box. Improvement was noted as can noted from 2 60mb recordings I'll put in the next post. Next step will be to add another filter to the sockets os the IT side and watch for better results (hopefully...)
No meu caso decidi construir o transformador.
